Tamarindo – Casa Cocina & Patio Bar – Visual identity design by creative studio La Tortilleria.
Tamarindo is a unique bar and restaurant located in Ourense, Spain. Founded by architect Ruben D. Gil and his wife Gretta R. Valdés, this place is an alternative for local walkers used to traditional bars or restaurants. The couple decided to open a restaurant that offers international cuisine and drinks in a pleasant atmosphere full of light wood ceilings, adobe walls, dim lighting and modern steel furniture design.
La Tortilleria, a Monterrey, Mexico based creative studio was asked to help with the development of a suitable visual identity for the restaurant. In addition to the creation of the main branding concept, their work included a range of stationery materials, packaging for branding products, to go packaging, coasters, menus and tote bags.
