Verena Michelitsch is an Austrian graphic designer and illustrator, living and working in New York City. She was asked to work on a rebranding for Bing Bang NYC Jewelry by Anna Sheffield. Her work included a new logo design, the overall branding, some illustrations, and packaging design. The jewelry brand focuses on younger audience. Bing Bang Jewelry collaborates with brands such as Urban Outfitters, Paperchase Press, and Club Monaco to offer additional products like notebooks, leather bags, cigarette cases, and many more.
The new logo is characterized by a clean and simple design, while the visual identity allows playfulness with quirky illustrations inspired by geometry and diamond-like shapes. The cigarette cases are available via Urban Outfitters and a collection of notebooks will be available soon.
