Graphit, a sans-serif font family with twelve styles from HVD Fonts.
Designed by Livius Dietzel and Tom Hoßfeld of Lit Design Studio for foundry HVD Fonts, Graphit is a new sans-serif family that comes in 12 styles. The family masterfully combines simple, geometric shapes with unique, edgy details. You can use it for both headlines and text sizes. In early 2018, Livius Dietzel and Tom Hoßfeld have released a free font named after their studio, Lit. German type designer and founder of foundry HVD Fonts, Hannes von Döhren suggested expanding this typeface into a full family. The two designers drew every single character from scratch. The result is the recently published Graphit font family.
Font specifications:
Graphit consists of 6 low-contrast weights ranging from Black to Thin. Every weight is accompanied by a suitable Italic version. The edgy details give it a distinctive and individual touch. Graphit’s medium, regular, and light versions are optimized for usage in copy texts. The set of alternate characters features simplified versions of the letters Q, f, r, and t for improved legibility.
