Bocanegra Studio was recently commissioned to develop a new brand identity for Prosciutto di Norcia, one of the most historic and famous prosciutto in Italy. The designers came up with a solution that transmits the two main features of Prosciutto di Norcia: quality and craftsmanship through various branding materials as well as different patterns, colors, and high-end finishing. Their aim was to find the perfect balance between elegance and a warm, tactile, and artisanal look. The new logo serves as the most striking key visual of the identity. It’s a modern take on historical writings made by the ancient Norcia Benedictine Monks. Bocanegra Studio’s creative design team has also created a range of square patterns, reminiscent of the floor decorations in some Umbrian medieval churches. These patterns have been used throughout the entire brand identity.
