The Kazimir font family by Yury Ostromentsky and Ilya Ruderman of foundry CSTM Fonts.

The two Russian type designers Yury Ostromentsky and Ilya Ruderman teamed up in 2015 to create the Kazimir font family. This serif typeface comes with different styles, each consists of five weights ranging from Light to Black. Its design is a new interpretation of Russian book and magazine typography known from late 19th and early 20th century. The Kazimir font family blends features from that time with a modern twist.

The family is equipped with two stylistic sets consisting of a Regular and a Irregular version. Kazimir’s Regular version offers a more contemporary style, while the Irregular version was designed for display use. You can use the Kazimir font family for both headlines and short texts. Its OpenType features contain ligatures, case sensitive forms and special symbols such as Ѣ, ѣ, Ѳ, ѳ, Ѵ, ѵ.
