TILE – Heating Element Design.
Radiators can be both a stylish design element as well as functional at the same time. The elegant TILE heating element was designed by Tomas Vacek, a Prague, Czechia based designer specializing in product design, interior design, and industrial design.
The idea behind the TILE heater was to create a radiator that provides an elegant and modern shape combined with functionality. The several ceramic tiles warm up quickly and hold the warm air continuously even after switching off the heater for a longer time than common metal heaters.
The individual tiles are easily placed on the aluminium frame of the heating body. The natural material of the tiles provides a more pleasant look and feel than the metal by itself.
