Three short films by Buster Grey-Jung for the Red Bull Studio Collectives project.
Buster Grey-Jung is a London based filmmaker, sound designer, and artist. He recently created a set of three short films to run alongside the Red Bull Studio Collectives project, which individually focus on three separate artistic collaborations. The videos explore the work and conceptual ideas of each pair as they develop a unique installation. The collaborations include: Leif Podhajský and Eva Papamargariti, Alice Dunseath and Matteo Mastrandrea, Netta Peltola and Hortense Duthilleux.
The films aim to provide a bespoke visual and sonic representation of the mood and atmosphere each of the artists conjure up through their creative thinking and takes a closer look at the range of physical as well as non-physical processes behind their practices.
Launched on January 28, there are currently three exhibits across London to show their collaborative installations. Below you can see the three short films.
Leif Podhajský and Eva Papamargariti.
The two artists explore the individualism of interpretation in relation to the visual language of dreams. Their collaborative work creates the effect of a place where fantasy is reality and entirely up to your own interpretation.
Alice Dunseath and Matteo Mastrandrea.
Their installation is based on the idea that everything is connected. Alice Dunseath and Matteo Mastrandrea have created a room filled with the central colors of the spectrum.
Netta Peltola and Hortense Duthilleux.
Their interactive installation reveals and conceals light depending on to the amount of energy and collective movement within the space.
