The MB Empire font family, a sturdy sans-serif typeface from M-B Creative.
Ben Mecke-Burford of studio and foundry M-B Creative has designed the MB Empire font family in 2013. The typeface has its roots in the sturdy and geometric design of the early 20th century. The MB Empire font family takes inspiration by the classic Gill Sans typeface and fonts with a distinctly English look and feel. The complete family consists of 12 fonts including 6 weights ranging from Thin to Heavy plus matching Italics for each weight. The design is characterized by a very traditional look whilst still maintaining its own modernist individuality. The MB Empire fonts are available as both conventional desktop font as well as web font. Its extensive character set supports multiple languages.
In addition, the MB Empire font family is equipped with numerous OpenType features such as Oldstlye & Lining Figures, Ligatures, Automatic Fractions, Stylistic Alternates, etc. This very legible typeface works pretty well for both headlines as well as long and small text.
