Nexa Slab – Slab Serif Font Family by Fontfabricby Dirk Petzold on May 26, 2013 • 15:32 No Comments
Nexa Slab Type Family.
Nexa Slab is the slab serif companion of the popular sans serif font ‘Nexa‘. Nexa Slab’s design is based on the same geometric shape. Its construction is based on rational and intuitive aspects. The letters are characterized by strict geometry and squarish proportions with the addition of strong slab serifs.
The type family by Svetoslav Simov (Font Publisher: Fontfabric) consists of 3 basic forms: italics, obliques, and uprights. Each basic form has 8 different weights. This diversity makes Nexa Slab a great font family for web and print products. You can use it as display font for headlines or as text font for small and large type settings. Nexa Slab joins seamlessly the number of classic Neo-Grotesque slab serif fonts such as Lubalin Graph, Rockwell, and Memphis. The font family includes a lot of OpenType features such as lining figures, “f” ligatures, alternate characters, and many more. You can get the entire family as both desktop font as well as web font.
