UNICEF ZEROawards – Identity and Communication Design.
UNICEF ZEROawards is a fundraising platform that captures the imaginations of Vietnam’s most successful people and companies to inspire them to donate. For this platform, UNICEF needed a strategy to raise funds from Vietnamese elite to support UNICEF Vietnam locally.
The Ho Chi Minh City based graphic design and branding studio Rice Creative was commissioned to visualize this strategy and create the visual identity as well as a range of communication design for UNICEF ZEROawards. The zero in the name aims to bring the number of preventable child deaths in Vietnam to zero. The number “0” is built from hundreds of pluses “+”. Each plus represents the power of individual donations.
