Zhang Linhai (張林海) is a contemporary artist from China. He was born in Shanghai in 1963 and graduated in 1990 from the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts with a Bachelor’s degree in Engraving, Tianjin. Since 2000, he is presented by the Schoeni Art Gallery. In his paintings, he deals with various topics such as isolation or a seemingly cloned mass. Zhang Linhai’s artworks are influenced by childhood memories and old dreams of liberation.
