Using an x-acto knife, South Korean artist Yoo Hyun creates hand-carved paper portraits of famous personalities. With great care, he carves out certain pattern structures until the hyper realistic portrait appears. Yoo Hyun’s paper artworks work best on dark backdrops to achieve the best possible contrast. His body of work includes portraits of personalities such as Pablo Picasso, Audrey Hepburn, Frida Kahlo, Marilyn Monroe, and many more.
