Have a look at these artistic portraits created by mixed-media artist Salman Khoshroo using wool on foam.

Born in 1983, Salman Khoshroo is an Iranian artist who’s working with a great variety of media. His Wool on Foam portraits series ist deeply tied to his experiences during the time of quarantine as well as a recent trauma. The artist says: “Weaving inanimate fibers into faces brings me comfort and helps to deal with the issues. These portraits are delicate and vulnerable and resonate with my own precarious situation. We live in fragile times, and I feel the need to find new materials and the mindset to reinvent my practice.”
