Located in the picturesque seaside neighborhood of Costa Esmeralda, Luciano Kruk’s VP House harmonizes perfectly with the natural landscape.
Completed in 2015, the VP House by architect Luciano Kruk is situated in Costa Esmeralda, a picturesque seaside neighborhood 13 km north of the city of Pinamar and 4 hours away from Buenos Aires. The area is characterized by natural sandy dunes and pines. The client asked for a summer house for his family with all common features, which also allow it to be rented out. The spacious social area has become the most prominent space in the house. It is connected to the unified dining and living rooms. The kitchen space has been connected seamlessly with a semi covered grill area. This area allows the living and dining area to expand into the exterior. The house includes three bedrooms consisting of one master bedroom and two secondary bedrooms. Please read more below the following image.
Due to its zero maintenance needs, the house has been designed using rough concrete. Furthermore, the architectural concept attaches great importance to a perfect harmony between the man-made construction and the natural surroundings. By following the terrain’s natural forms, the architecture merges perfectly into the landscape. One staircase inside the house links the social space with the private areas, while an exterior staircase connects the deck with the woods beneath.
