It has been designed by Philipp Nurullin and the TypeType team to combine the style of English humanist sans-serifs of the early 20th century with the requirements for contemporary geometric grotesques. Their aim was to retain the feeling of a hand-crafted typeface while creating a design that’s highly functional and simple. The TT Wellingtons font family contains several features of both traditional and modern type specifications. Along with countless OpenType features, the family comes with an extensive set of alternates, ligatures, and other useful features.
