Plus House Larvik, an award-winning, sustainable home built as pilot project.

Plus House Larvik is based on optimized architectural qualities and latest technological solutions. Goal was to develop a single family house as a demonstration platform for learning purposes about sustainability. The sloped roof is clad with solar panels and collectors. In addition, the house uses geothermal energy from energy wells in the ground to serve the entire energy needed for a family. Large glass panes provide sufficient natural light throughout the house. The used materials for both exterior and interior space have been chosen based on thermal characteristics and embodied energy.
