Bora Headquarters – SAOTA’s first completed project in Mallorca, Spain.
Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Mallorca, Spain, this relaxed resort-style home and work environment blends into its environment through the use of form and locally inspired materials. The project combines influences from SAOTA’s airy light-filled Cape Town projects with a contemporary take on Mallorca’s architecture. Located on a steep slope, the house provides outstanding views over the landscape. Just have a look at the following images and you will see that the linear terraced building offers uninterrupted views with an emphasis on outdoor living on both the terrace and bedroom level. With deep overhangs, sliding shutters as well as recessed doors and windows, the house provides a passive design approach to create a balance between comfort and elegance. ARRCC and Revuelta y Stahn (RyS) Architects were responsible for the interiors. You can find further information on the project on the SAOTA website.
