Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami (MOCA) opens Art Basel 2015 with paintings by Colombian Carlos Salas.

On December 2, 2015, Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami (MOCA) will kick off the officially-sanctioned Art Basel festivities with the opening reception of Colombian artist Carlos Salas’ exhibition “Latin America and the Global Imagination”. The exhibition features 60 monumental abstract paintings by the artist and will be on display until February 2, 2016.

With elaborate brush strokes as well as scratches and scars, his paintings provide space for interpretation and analysis.
