Created by type designer James Walker Puckett of Dunwich Type Founders, Antarctican is a display sans font family that comes with eighteen styles.

The Antarctican font family mixes ruler and compass geometry with American wood-type lettering. It includes deep notches, asymmetric contrast, and a tall x-height to improve legibility at small sizes while also making headlines more attention-grabbing when set large. All text styles are monospaced and headline styles are proportionally spaced; this allows text to be unconventional while still allowing headlines to weigh from thin to ultra-black.

With support for over 200 languages, the Antarctican font can be used by designers and readers all over the world. Its OpenType features include small caps, lining and superior/inferior numbers, prebuilt fractions in monospaced fonts, and arbitrary fractions in headline fonts, as well as ligatures.
