Peter Zimmerman Architects teamed up with Barbara Gisel Design to complete this Sun Valley contemporary home with a western twist.
Constructed by the renowned Peter Zimmerman Architects and designed with a warm contemporary style, this luxurious 7,500 sq ft Sun Valley residence is like no other. Barbara Gisel Design has masterfully combined modern elements with western influences to create an edgy yet inviting atmosphere that caters to its family’s active lifestyle of skiing, fishing, and kayaking. A vacation home at heart that has since become their primary residence – it is truly one-of-a-kind!
Drawing from their 47 years of expertise, Barbara Gisel Design created a tranquil interior that showcased the majestic mountain range backdrop. Collaborating closely with the architect, allowing for an all-encompassing and extraordinary experience for the client. The result was nothing short of spectacular—featuring custom baseboards & casings, leather-wrapped drawers in the bar area, an antique mirror backsplash plus a glass shelving unit, and a zinc ceiling.
