Olivetta, a spontaneous, kind of ironic sans serif font family from type foundry Los Andes.

Designed by Alfonso García in 2019 for foundry Los Andes, the Olivetta typeface is a fresh take on the often very similar-looking sans-serif styles. Characterized by high contrast between thick and thin strokes of the lowercase letterforms, Olivetta’s typeface offers visual strength while illustrating the power of words through its striking, dominant yet little cheeky appearance.

The full family consists of twenty styles including ten weights plus matching Italics. The versatile weights range from hairline to black. Each individual style contains over 400 glyphs with numerous alternative characters and extras. The lightweights of the Olivetta font family are great for subtle headlines, while the heavier ones are well suited for poster designs, short text sections, branding projects, and editorial designs. Last but not least, its intermediate weights offer the best readability. Therefore, they are well suited for longer texts. To learn more, just have a look at the images below. By the way, the entire family is currently available as a heavily discounted introductory offer—so hurry and check out the following links.
