Nauman – Humanist Sans Serif Font Family.
Nauman is another modern type family from The Northern Block. This humanist sans serif typeface is intended for the use in screen design and digital applications. Font designer Jonathan Hill combined open letters with exact geometry. This results in a functional and very legible font. The entire Nauman family consists of 20 fonts (10 weights plus matching italics for each weight). Jonathan Hill has drawn some serif like details into uppercase ‘I’, ‘J’ and lowercase ‘i’ and ‘j’ in order to achieve a better readability and create more distinction at small point sizes. In addition, the Nauman typeface has a serifed number 1 and a crossed out zero. The Nauman font family consists of more than 800 characters including several alternative lowercase letters, 7 variations of numerals, true small caps with accents, manually edited kerning, and numerous OpenType features.
