The Naked House – Architecture Project.
Oh my goodness, I want to live in a house like that! Photographer and architect Marc Gerritsen designed this beautiful house for himself. He was looking for a place to escape, a place away from the hustle of the city. Marc Gerritsen found this place in Koh Samui, Thailand to build his beautiful home. The house is situated on a steep slope, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and with an unobstructed view of the ocean. The open living room is connected by sliding doors with terrace and a spacious endless pool.
Marc Gerritsen says this house is a return to the basic values in life. Living with good clean air, wide open space, and quiet solitude. These principles influenced the architecture and construction of the house significantly. Only basic materials were used such as concrete, wood, steel and of course glass.
