Beijing, China based architectural firm, Vector Architects completed this modern and minimalist design for the Seashore Library, which is located directly on the beach of Beidaihe, Qinhuangdao. The concept offers a library architecture characterized by an open plan with concrete-clad walls and rectangular shapes. Most of the walls offer a rough and structured surface. The interior space includes a spacious reading lounge, which is facing the the beach and the sea. With this gorgeous view, the Seashore Library provides the perfect environment for all readers. Located at China’s east coast, this library architecture concept offers an extraordinary space for its users to work, read or relax in a calming atmosphere. Both interior and exterior spaces are characterized by diverse geometric compositions as well as rough and structured concrete surfaces. A clever mix of materials such as concrete and small bricks as well as small windows and large glass facades gives the library its unique and unmistakable charm.
