Milliard, a modern grotesk font family by German type designer René Bieder.
Here comes the brand new Milliard font family. This beauty has been designed and published by René Bieder. The sharp and elegant family consists of 22 fonts. Its clean style is inspired by typical grotesk typefaces known from the early twentieth century. Due to Milliard’s clear and modern appearance as well as its great legibility in both large and small text sizes, this elegant type family works pretty good in plenty of applications including print and web. In addition to its open counters and airy feel, the typeface reveals a humanistic but yet geometric voice, ranging from elegant thin weights to strong heavy weights. Furthermore, the family is equipped with many OpenType features including diverse stylistic sets, old style numbers, arrows, among others. With lots of alternate characters and multi language support, the Milliard font family was made for professional type setting. Its clean style is the result of combining geometric elements like a nearly circular uppercase and lowercase O, open apertures on “a”, “c”, and “e”, with vertically sheared terminals on uppercase “C”, “G”, J, and “S”. Round dots supporting the warm and humanist character. The high x-hight results in great readability in any text size. The complete family is currently available as cheap introductory offer.
