Kate Banazi & Diego Berjon Collaboration

Artistic collaboration between Sydney-based Kate Banazi and Madrid-based Diego Berjon.

Since their first contact via Instagram, the Sydney-based artist Kate Banazi (www.katebanazi.com) and Madrid-based artist Diego Berjon (www.diegoberjon.com) have collaborated on approximately fifty artworks. The body of work comprises a mix of acrylic paint, silkscreen prints, etching, spray paint, iron oxide, pencil, and Indian ink. Furthermore, the abstract pieces combine their distinctive styles. While Kate Banazi’s work is mainly characterized by a variety of graphic shapes, Diego Berjon rather uses lush brush strokes to express himself. Please read more about this unique collaboration below the first picture.

Despite their distinctly different styles, both artists enjoy mutual references and inspirations. It’s hard to believe but the artists have never met in real life to date. Please see below a selection of works. For more imagery, go forth: www.katebanazi.com/diegoberjon
