We Come As We Are – Luigi Rodriguez’ hyper realistic sculpture of his own orgasm.
Luigi Rodriguez is a Venezuelan artist who currently lives and works in Madrid, Spain. Some of his previous artworks have been shown in Caracas, Las Vegas, Miami, New York, and many more places. With his latest project “We Come As We Are”, the Venezuelan artist has immortalized his own facial expression during orgasm in form of a hyper realistic sculpture. Luigi Rodriguez believes that the face during sexual climax reveals our pure, unadulterated personality. In 2016, Luigi spent much time learning all the necessary techniques to develop his sculpture. He explains it was a long but yet interesting process to figure out how to create all these little details. Another challenge was to allow himself to be in such a vulnerable state.
