The team of SB Architects has completed the Hillside House, which is situated in the hills of Mill Valley, California. It’s located close to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. It’s a home that combines first-class design with high sustainability.
Placed on a steep hillside, the four-story house is covered with the sustainable wood of Western Red Cedar. The team of SB Architects decided to create an architecture that is characterized by a vertical design with multiple floors for living and private zones. Several outdoor spaces as well as covered terraces and balconies provide stunning views of the bay and the San Francisco skyline beyond. Every part of the Hillside House was designed with a maximum of sustainability in mind.
