Damien Hirst solo exhibition at Gary Tatintsian Gallery in Moscow, Russia.

From March 31 – June 1,2017, Gary Tatintsian Gallery in Moscow, Russia will present an exclusive solo show by renowned English artist, entrepreneur, and art collector, Damien Hirst. He was born in Bristol in 1965, but grew up in Leeds. From 1986 – 1989, he studied “Fine Arts” at Goldsmiths College in London. In 1988, Hirst has curated Freeze, an exhibition hosted at a vacant warehouse in the London harbor district, where he and some of his fellow students exhibited their work. In the following years, Damien Hirst has become one of the most influential and prominent artists of his generation. Please read more below.

His art is deeply rooted in different thoughts and ideas about our existence. He once said, “There’s only ever been one idea of art… The only reason why we do anything is to search for an answer to those questions: why, where, what, who? Where we do come from, where are we going, and is there a reason? The greatest paintings of all time are about that.” He continued: “I don’t want to tell anybody what to think, I just want to make you think, and make you think along with me. There are no answers, only questions, and hopefully the questions will help guide you through the darkness.”
