Pen drawings of classic cars by Alessandro Paglia.
Alessandro Paglia is known for his hyper-realistic drawings of iconic designs. Already featured twice on WE AND THE COLOR, here comes a little update of Alessandro’s latest pen drawings. This time, the skilled illustrator has created a series of classic car drawings. The meticulous artworks show a selected range of iconic cars such as the Mercedes 300 SL “Gullwing” from 1954, a 1970 Lamborghini Miura, a Bugatti Atlantic Type 57 from 1937, and others. The artist says his process of creation is quite simple, he photographs the subject, then draws the outlines with a pencil and then meticulously reproduces it with thin technical black ink pens on rough grain paper. Each artwork speaks for itself! What do you think about these pieces and what’s your favorite car in the series?
