The Far Sight House in Singapore by Wallflower Architecture + Design

The architecture of an unusual house in Singapore.

The team of Wallflower Architecture + Design was responsible for this unusual and remarkable house in Singapore. The Far Sight House is placed on an elevated ground. The rear of the house offers beautiful views of a greener residential district in Singapore.

Wallflower Architecture + Design were commissioned by the client to design a two-story house with an attic and a roof terrace overlooking the valley. The Far Sight House combines two forms, the basic architecture at the bottom and the large attic that also serves as living space. A multi-layered façade with glass doors and windows as well as a veil of vertical timber louvers characterize the exterior architecture of the house.

The first storey includes an open living area, the dining room and kitchen, as well as a guest room and a small pool for the children. A family room and three bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor. The study loft is linked to the roof terrace.
