Brand development and packaging design by Anagrama for Teastories.
The renowned Mexican graphic design studio Anagrama was commissioned to develop a suitable brand identity including packaging range for Teastories, a Vienna, Austria based tea store that offers selected premium tea products. Their various teas come from from the most diverse corners of the earth ranging from Japanese green tea to black tea from Sri Lanka. In addition, they offer a variety of tea accessories. Teastories is a place where tea lovers come by finding new varieties or have one on the go.
Anagrama developed a branding proposal based on the allusion to the natural accents of flavor and aroma in tea. These “natural accents” are presented in a very minimalist and approachable manner. Diverse brush strokes in a subtle color palette refer to the essence of tea. The logotype uses a combination of quotation marks and tea leaves. This typographic design element plays with the idea that every type of tea has a different story.
