The human form reduced to geometric simplicity by Mike Karolos.

Born in 1984 in Manchester, UK, Mike Karolos is a graphic designer and illustrator who lives and works in Athens, Greece. He specializes in the fields of branding, logo design, packaging, illustration, abstract art, and graffiti.

Recently he has been working on illustrations of more isolated scenes in comparison to his previous artworks. The challenge was to evolve his illustrative style and explore how it matches the human form without losing its geometric simplicity. The various scenes he has created in this project are characteristic illustrations from everyday life around the world as well as special activities and events. Mike says it was also a chance to play with various color palettes and give a sense of movement to some of the pieces. Check them out below.
