Smack Lobster Roll – Branding by & Smith Design

Smack Lobster Roll – rebranding including logo design, illustration, packaging, print and web design by the team of & Smith.

The London based graphic design and branding studio & Smith was asked to rebrand Smack Deli under the new name “Smack Lobster Roll”. This takeaway concept is brought to you by the team behind Burger & Lobster. They offer freshly cooked lobsters in brioche rolls with diverse fillings.

In a first step, studio & Smith developed a logotype that draws inspiration from old hand-painted markings on boats used for lobster fishing. In addition, they produced some illustrations reminiscent of old travel posters but with a more modern touch. These vintage inspired illustrations were used all across the visual identity.

Below you can see some examples of the rebranding project. For more, please visit: andsmithdesign.com
