The Scarcity and Creativity Studio (SCS) is a part of the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). They focus on conceptual architecture design and construction.
A team of students has created this beautiful seaside sauna named ‘The Bands’. The sauna is placed at Kleivan, an abandoned fishing village high up in the north of Norway, at the Lofoten. The design of this seaside sauna was part of a renovation plan of this place. The wood construction of the sauna stretches up over the rocky terrain directly into the cold water of the Nort Sea. This excellent location offers breathtaking views of the polar landscape.
