The agency was hired to develop a distinctive brand identity for an industrial design agency. Their remit included the challenge of finding a new brand name and creating the complete visual identity. A creative team of the Scandinavian Design Group started with defining the focus of the company as well as their main aims, customers, and markets. In addition, they analyzed how the company wants to be perceived in relation to their products and the competitors.
Based on these analyzes they dealt with the process of finding a suitable brand name. The new name should reflect a certain quirkiness as well as innovativeness and still classical approach of the young industrial designers. Rom & Tonik is the result of these considerations. The name conveys humor and awakens curiosity.
The logo design is based on the letters RT drawn in a mirrored effect. It offers a strong and distinctive symbolism, which is perfectly adaptable to three dimensional products and spaces. This bold visualization was the basis for all further branding materials. Throughout the process, Scandinavian Design Group developed the stationery and some communication materials as well as a simple and clean website.
