Oddds – Studio Brand Identity.
Studio Oddds was founded by Penang and Singapore based designers in 2013. They specialize in branding, art direction, and graphic design projects. Oddds’ work is characterized by intuitive design with a touch of futurism.
Their new visual identity is based on an evolutionary set of systems, which were progressively and intuitively placed together. The design is inspired by the designers’ fascination of human behaviours and cognitive curiosities.
The complete brand identity is divided into 4 main topics. Deep Sea Complexity is the first theme. It’s the element where all things can be created beneath surfaces and beyond edges. The second topic is Bravery in Hunting. It stands for unknown things can be explored with intentions and experiments through art and design. Oddds’ third topic is based on the glamor of illustration. It’s the creative area where a certain mystique is brought together by clairvoyance using forms of futurism. The last theme is Science of Atmosphere – it’s the topic where imagination and accuracy can result in unlimited visible languages.
The new stationery set comprises name cards, envelopes, postcards, thank you card, tags, coasters and packaging. They used letterpress, matt gold and copper foils in order to create a unique and sophisticated finishing.
