The Architecture of Muzeum Lotnictwa in Krakow, Poland.
The team of Peter Ruge Architekten from Berlin, Germany has designed the Muzeum Lotnictwa located in Krakow, Poland. The museum focuses on the history of aviation. The new building for the museum is inspired by the idea of flying as well as the spirit and structure of the historic airfield.
Peter Ruge Architekten say about the building: “The old hangars give the footprint and the height for the basic module and, when it is cut and folded like a windmill or a propeller, it yields a subtle, functionally expressive architectural sculpture.”
