Branding by studio Fork for Mary Wong, a chain of noodle bars.
Mary Wong is the name of a chain of noodle bars from the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don. They combine asian accuracy with an american spirit.
Moscow-based design studio Fork was responsible for the overall branding strategy, the visual appearance as well as the store and packaging design. They developed a brand identity based on a bilingual but yet simple typography mixed with playful illustrations and graphics. It’s a visual language that reflects both asian tradition as well as Western fast-food culture. Studio Fork created all branding and communication materials, promotional items, stickers, the packaging range, and the store interior. The brand identity combines a sense of reduced objectivity with cute elements and illustrations.
