GUILD x ODEON x EEVA SUUTARI, a funky fashion photography series that draws inspiration from the interior of the contemporary restaurant and social club in the heart of the new Tallinn Bohemia.
GUILD, a Tallinn-based fashion brand has teamed up with social club Odeon and Finnish photographer Eeva Suutari who’s well known for collaborations with publishers and brands such as Hypebeast, Vogue Italy, and Pitti Uomo.
The funky fashion portraits were shot in Odeon, a contemporary restaurant and social club in the heart of the new Tallinn Bohemia. Dedicated to creative communities and artists, the place was designed by Portuguese interior architect Sergio Rebelo together with NYC filmmaker and environmentalist Mary Jordan. In Odeon, notes of the mid-century Soviet design entwine in the most harmonious way with the style of classic diners of California—an awe-inspiring combination that influenced the vibe of the fashion series. Elements of GUILD SS’19 and SS’20 collections were used to create a funky, contemporary yet familiar atmosphere. Bleach washed denim and bell-bottom jeans, as well as floral patterns of the 1970s and vibrant kimonos inspired by soul music, created a funky scene.
Ellen Walge, a rising make-up artist who recently did Celine and ACNE shows in Paris was responsible for make-ups. One of the finest Tallinn-based underground hairstylists, Maria-Liisa Tehver did the wonderful 1980s inspired hair. The models were GUILD’s head designer Joan Hint together with Tallinn it girls Josefine Vaher-Vahter and Nnenna Christian.
