A selection of mixed media artworks by renowned cover artist Mary Iverson will be on view at G. Gibson Gallery in Seattle. Her exhibition “You and Me in the Aftermath” will take place from October 16. – November 28, 2015.
Mary Iverson’s mixed media artworks are characterized by a relationship between real landscapes and graphic constractions of industrial objects, containers, and shipwrecks. Through her imagery, she creates fictive scenarios of natural and industrial disasters. The artworks show seemingly surreal, post-apocalyptic worlds.
