Mary Iverson’s mixed media artworks are characterized by a relationship between real landscapes and graphic constractions of industrial objects, containers, and shipwrecks. Through her imagery, she creates fictive scenarios of natural and industrial disasters. The artworks show seemingly surreal, post-apocalyptic worlds. Some people have survived and now they wander through the traversing obstacles.
