Design Shanghai 2015 – China’s leading international design event.
This year’s show takes place in the Shanghai Exhibition Centre from March 27 to March 30, 2015. With estimated 300 exhibitors and brands from all over the world, Design Shanghai is China’s leading platform to network and establish long-term business relations with architects, industrial and interior designers, developers, managers or private buyers.
For the 2015 event, Design Shanghai has announced an incredible line up of speakers during its four day event in China, plus a breathtaking sculpture by Fredrikson Stallard for Swarovski containing 8,000 blue Swarovski crystal droplets.
The list of speakers includes names such as Marcel Wanders, Arik Levy, Lee Broom, Aric Chen, Jérôme Sans, Neri & Hu, and WGSN’s Lisa White will be joined by further internationally acclaimed designers, inventors, architects and curators, to discuss design, craft, materiality, urbanism, technology and art on a truly international platform.
Fredrikson Stallard’s stunning new four meter diameter sculpture, ‘Prologue’, for Swarovski will greet visitors in the courtyard of the Shanghai Exhibition Centre and has been designed to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Swarovski Waterschool program.
