The Qiyunshan tree house hotel by Shanghai based architecture practice Bengo Studio consists of several timber volumes that have been stacked around a tree.
Placed on a small plot of only 100 qm in Huangshan, China, the Qiyunshan tree house has been designed by the skilled architects of Bengo Studio as a small country hotel. The most striking feature of the architectural concept is the arrangement of several timber volumes, which were literally stacked on top of each other around a tree. All volumes are connected by a spiral staircase. Each area consists of a living room, bedroom, bathroom, viewing room, and viewing platform on top of it. The clean and minimalist interior concept perfectly blends the architectural design. A selection of images can be found below.
