Ardena, a modern sans-serif font family created and published by Julien Fincker.

Just a few days ago, type designer Julien Fincker published his latest font family, Ardena. From thin to heavy plus matching italics, the modern sans-serif features a total of 20 styles. The Ardena font family combines neutral and clear characteristics with open, rounded forms and vertical terminals to convey a pleasant but confident style. Equipped with more than 1064 characters, Ardena supports over 200 Latin-based languages. Furthermore, it comes with an extended set of currency symbols, an extensive range of arrows and numbers as well as plenty of OpenType features and alternate characters as stylistic sets, small caps, and automatic fractions.

Whether print or on screen, Ardena’s thinner and thicker weights are ideal for striking headlines, while its middle weights are well suited for a range of typographic challenges and body text. The wide range of arrows and numbers is perfectly suited for use in orientation and guidance systems. These various designs of arrows and numbers can also be simply “written” without first having to select them in a glyph palette.
