Creative studio Blok Design was asked to create an issue based on the theme of counterculture for the magazine. The Toronto based studio teamed up with the renowned cultural anthropologist who also contributed an essay. Blok Design’s edition of the Wayward Arts magazine is a celebration of what happens when art, politics, and design come together to change history. In addition, it’s an artistic expression of the belief that “design is at its best when it serves society”. You can find more of Blok Design’s creative work on their website.
