A Neoclassical Restaurant Identity.
The multidisciplinary creative studio and design consultancy Cheshire Cat Co. was hired to develop a new visual identity for Archontico restaurant. Inspired by classic tiles found in old neoclassical townhouses of Athens, the creative studio has designed a restaurant identity based on simple geometric shapes, symbols and patterns. According to this basic symbolism they developed a distinctive logo and different brand symbols. The logo reflects something familiar to the Athenian inhabitants while the brand symbols add diversity to Archontico’s complete restaurant identity.
Alongside a range of printed materials such as stationery and communication design, the new visual identity is also reflected in the interior and exterior design of the restaurant. Skillful graphic design combined with neoclassical elements and patterns of good old times convey a pleasant feeling to each guest.
