A small collection of rejected proposals for diverse book covers created by French illustrator Tom Haugomat.
It’s quite usual that you have to create several proposals, if you work as a freelance illustrator for a publishing agency. There are often amazing illustrations among all the proposals for book covers, which did not make it to the final version.
Somehow it’s a shame that most of these pieces will never see the light of day. That’s why I want to show you some rejected illustration proposals for book covers created by Tom Haugomat for the French publisher “Marabout”. You can see more of Tom Haugomat’s work on his Tumblr page.
