Graphic design and branding by Brand Brothers for Expograph.
Established in 1973, Expograph is one of the major players in the field of signage design in France. They mainly specialize in the design and production of diverse signage systems as well as visual communication and decoration. In the spring of 2019, the designers of studio Brand Brothers were commissioned to revise the existing brand identity of Expograph. The result is a more radical and direct brand design expressing technology and systemic thinking through a new graphical system. The logo is based on a homemade typographic artwork. It’s basically a monochrome typogram. Its characters are based on a series of identical rectangles. The “X” (pointing in four directions) became the key visual of the new identity system, which consists of a range of graphical shapes.
