A team of Gubbins Arquitectos has completed the Mirador House in Tunquén, Chile. With its extraordinary location on top of a cliff facing the Pacific ocean, this house is intended to serve as a retreat from the hustle of the city life. The beautiful environment invites the inhabitants to read, write, walk, talk or simply relax.
The entrance to the house is reached via a long ramp. The center of the Mirador House is a double height space that allows sunlight to shine through this area during the morning and the evening. A steel spiral staircase connects the lower level with the upper level from where you can exit to the roof terrace.
