The client asked for a home that offers breathtaking views of Rio’s mountains and seaside. Casa AL is situated in the hills near São Conrado beach. Architect Arthur Casas’ design intertwines all social areas of the house with the landscape. The amazing views of the landscape are present in all the living spaces. Large glass panels can be slided behind the walls. This solution creates a seamless transition between the interior and exterior spaces. This dream house in Rio de Janeiro is created from local stone and cumaru wood.
All interior spaces provide a comfortable and casual feel. The interior design concept uses Brazilian furniture along with foreign design objects.
